MK Mark is Committed to the Vision of Sovereignty

The Sovereignty Movement welcomes new member of Knesset Osnat Mark's statements from the Knesset dais and her remarks to the media about her commitment to the vision of sovereignty.

Even in her first speech to the Knesset plenum, Member of Knesset Osnat Mark declared her intention to act toward the application of Israeli sovereignty in Ma'ale Adumim. In an interview with Arutz 7, she explained that she sees sovereignty in Ma'ale Adumim as the first step toward the application of Israeli sovereignty over the entire area of Judea and Samaria.
 
In her speech to the plenum, Member of Knesset Mark, who entered the Knesset in place of Jackie Levy (recently elected as mayor of Beit She'an), said: "Another matter that I intend to deal with is the application of sovereignty in Judea and Samaria. I have been privileged to live in Ma'ale Adumim for so many years. My city, of which I am so proud, has developed impressively since its founding, but it is important for us to do more. There is no doubt that Ma'ale Adumim is a fait accompli, and I will continue to work to strengthen it".
 
In the interview with Arutz 7, she added that she views Judea and Samaria as areas that are very close to her heart and as such, she intends to act toward the application of Israeli sovereignty over the entire area of Judea and Samaria, with Ma'ale Adumim being only the first step in that process.
 
The Sovereignty Movement welcomes MK Mark's words and wishes her success in her parliamentary activities in the diplomatic sphere and promises to help and support her toward the implementation and realization of the vision of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
 
MK Mark has found it correct to express her position clearly and resolutely even in her first speech to the Knesset plenum. Her choice indicates her understanding of her role as a public servant, faithful to the realization of the Zionist vision and the generations of longing for Jewish sovereignty over the land that is our birthplace as a People, Judea and Samaria", say the heads of the Sovereignty Movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar.
 
The two women note that "MK Mark joins a long list of elected figures, MKs and ministers, who have declared their allegiance to the vision of sovereignty and act to promote it in various ways. This group of pioneering leaders carries on its back the mission of the current generation, the mission of sovereignty. The people in Israel have internalized that the Oslo ideas are disastrous and it expects to see its leaders restore the Zionist ship to its original and historical path. We wish MK Osnat Mark to merit being a meaningful and central element in the historic process that is taking shape more and more every day, the process of sovereignty".
