Another gap in the Palestinian wall of concealment exposes the goal of the PA. Terrorist Zakariya Zubeidi clarifies: There will be no agreement until we return to Cesaria and Haifa. "This is an Arab state".
From listening to the official words of the leaders of the Palestinian Authority one cannot always know the PA's true positions and aspirations. The leaders know how to hide that their true goal is to establish a state on the ruins of Israel. The leadership of the PA is well aware of the way its words are received in Israeli society and in the international diplomatic sphere, and in order not to cause any harm to its plan of phases, for the time being it defers any declaration about the goal that it has set for itself.
On the other hand, from time to time a window is opened onto the true goals of the Palestinian leadership. Sometimes it is a former senior PA official, sometimes it is a statement that slips out in an interview with a journalist and sometimes it is a person in the field who is not held to diplomatic rules and says what is on his mind and what the leadership thinks. This is the case of Zakariya Zubeidi, who had long been sought by Israeli security forces for a series of attacks that he was responsible for and for organizing violent incidents during the Intifada in Jenin, where he lives.
In an interview with journalist Zvi Yehezkeli for Channel 13 News (Jan. 16, 2019), Zubeidi says what Yehezkeli defines as something that "Abu Mazen would never say at a negotiating table" - his position and the position of the Palestinian street on the true purpose of diplomatic negotiations.
"These agreements", says Zubeidi to Yehezkeli, regarding the Oslo Accords and similar agreements, "will not bring about a solution to the Palestinian problem". When Yehezkeli asks him if the Palestinian demands will end with the '67 lines and asks for "the truth and not something like the truth", Zubeidi answers him, "Don't talk about Jenin, talk about Haifa and Nazareth. I am originally from Cesaria", he says and makes clear that the goal is to return there as well. According to him, as long as he doesn't return to the same house in Cesaria there will not be peace "at all", in his words.
"The truth is that this is an Arab state", says Zubeidi, who views statements about a state in the '67 lines as declarations for diplomatic purposes only, "I do not think that there will be an agreement".
