Under the banner: “No to the Trump Plan! No to a Palestinian state! Yes to true Zionist sovereignty between the sea and the Jordan!" The Sovereignty Movement reacts to the main points of Efrat Mayor Oded Revivi, in an interview that he granted to the Jerusalem Post.

“Oded Revivi is right. We do, indeed, oppose sovereignty if its application involves, directly or indirectly, the establishment of a Palestinian state,” they say in the Sovereignty Movement, in addressing Revivi’s statement according to which the opposition of some of the settlement leadership to a Palestinian state constitutes an obstacle to the application of Israeli sovereignty over the communities in Judea and Samaria.

“We must not forget the loyalty of the Jewish people to the Land of Israel over the course of two thousand years. We must not forget the reason that led us to immigrate from the four corners of the earth to the Land of Israel and not to Uganda. We draw our strength from the Bible and from the faith that the Land of Israel is the land of the Jewish people exclusively. The divine command that ties the Jewish people to its land is etched in iron and blood, as Rav Kook, of blessed memory, stated. In the Land of Israel only one entity and one sovereignty will be established, and that is the Jewish national entity,” they say in the Movement.

The Movement’s leadership calls upon all those who are loyal to the Land of Israel and love it to join the great outcry that will reject outright the idea of applying sovereignty to thirty per cent of the territory of Judea and Samaria while, God forbid, agreeing to the establishment of an Arab state in the rest of the territory. “If an outcry of that type will not arise, it will constitute betrayal of the most fundamental value of the Land of Israel, the value, on whose basis, we settled our historic inheritance.”

“Just as a parent does not make deals and business transactions, which include ostensible agreement to relinquish one of his children in order to save his other children, even if he is convinced that the other party will not agree to the deal, so too, one does not make transactions of that kind involving the Land of Israel. The leadership of the entire right wing must state the truth without engaging in politics, tactics, and deals. The truth is that the Land of Israel, in its entirety, belongs exclusively to the Jewish people and there is no room whatsoever to agree to foreign sovereignty of any kind over it.
