The Sovereignty movement blesses the People of Israel on the occasion of the 72nd Independence Day and looks forward to the future with renewed forces
On the occasion of the 72nd holiday of independence for the State of Israel, we express our gratefulness together for the wonderful privilege to live in this generation, the generation of rebirth, to gaze at our surroundings and be amazed by the miraculous achievements of the State of Israel in its 72 years despite all of the challenges that it has faced and is still confronted with.
Every day of the year, every moment of our lives, we are moved by the great miracle of the return of Zion, the great miracle of the State of Israel, but on Independence day we pause for a moment in our routine, in order to appreciate the tremendous bounty that we are privileged to, to see how we have progressed to another rung on the ladder ascending to the full redemption of Israel and set new goals for ourselves.
This year as well, we have progressed much. The global crisis, which did not pass over us, demonstrated the great hidden powers within the People of Israel and the State of Israel, mutual responsibility, the spirit of volunteerism, giving thanks for the good, unity, initiative and creativeness.
From the political point of view as well, we have become stronger and have risen to another level, with ever more Israeli leaders becoming aware and committed to the People’s call for Independence and sovereignty. The argument around the correct pace and scope of sovereignty is natural, healthy and shows a commitment to a democratic state inhabited by a vibrant and opinionated People, and indeed, this is who we are.
We are faced with not a few national challenges, goals and tasks, and with a joint effort using those same strengths that are shown during these days, we will face them and we will overcome them and ascend further in the Zionist vision that is now becoming realized. It is no longer just the beginning of the redemption. We are now in the midst and the heart of the redemption and how fortunate we are to be part of it!
Hag sameah – Happy holiday!
