The Deal of the Century is the Scam of the Century and the Trap of the Century

Examining the details of the plan of the century reveals a plan to methodically suffocate communities, isolate communities and especially, to establish a Palestinian state in the heart of the Land. Boaz Haetzni explains in an interview.

Publicist Boaz Haetzni has examined the significance of U.S. President Donald Trump’s plan of the century, read the plan in great detail, delved deeply into the plan’s map and came to extremely disturbing conclusions. It is the trap of the century, he states.

In an interview for Arutz 7, Haetzni detailed the disturbing insights that arose, among which are steps that would bring about the suffocation of communities, the cutting off communities and the creation of an Arab territorial contiguity, the entire purpose of which is to move toward the  establishment of a Palestinian state in the heart of the State of Israel.

A few key excerpts from the interview:

“This is a plan to pay for the establishment of a Palestinian state by throwing Israel a few bones.   The biggest bone is sovereignty over 30 percent of the territory that is actually is 20 percent of the Jordan Valley and only ten percent of the hills of Judea and Samaria”, says Haetzni, continuing:

“The night of the applause in Washington following the announcement of the Trump plan, I sat with the map. I studied it all night long, I translated the plan along with an expert on international law, and we immediately saw the entire disaster. This plan is a disaster and we are not reading it. It’s a long document in English so people are not reading it. This is the basis for the entire disaster”.

According to him, in order to understand the ramifications of the plan it would be enough to listen to the speech by U.S. Ambassador David Friedman at Dr. Dore Gold’s institute, and there, during the question and answer part, is where the mechanism behind the agreement becomes clear. “We are talking about an Israeli commitment to the U.S. to freeze 15 communities in order to design a map to transfer a huge amount of territory to the Arabs. They will be frozen for four years without the Arabs being able to stop this freeze. We wait four years or until the Arabs say that they will enter negotiations. Until then, the business is frozen while in the field, we know the Arabs will continue to take over territory unhindered. They can be recalcitrant or terrorists but by definition, it will not be possible to change this freeze because the commitment is between Israel and the U.S.”.

“This is a plan to partition the Land, and it’s a bad partition. From our point of view, dividing the Land is a sinful and inconceivable thing to do. If the Left had proposed it, we would have violently objected, but we, the nationalist camp, so many Israeli citizens , wanted sovereignty so much, that those who formulated this plan took the concept of sovereignty, which is our soul’s longing, and used this name for a plan that is exactly the opposite, as if it was a dream come true, and we , with naieve enthusiasm, have not even read what is written there. I read it that night and I could not sleep. Later I studied the maps and we have a picture that is not yet entirely clear and apparently there are other terrible things”.

When he was asked to put his finger on the worst points of the Trump plan, Haetzni answered: “First of all, it is agreeing to a Palestinian state and this is the Left’s plan. This is the worst and most significant thing. After a state is established, it cannot be nullified. Even Germany was not nullified after what it had caused to the world. They changed the regime and went on. If a Palestinian state arose for one minute, we’ve lost it. We’ve stopped the Land for another two thousand years”.

And another thing – the Arabs have priority. They have freedom of movement and roads that are closed to us. We do not have freedom of movement. They get more than half of the kingdom and they leave us less than the bare minimum required for normal life in most of the communities”.

Haetzni also speaks of insights that arise from the Deal of the Century maps: The communities are divided into three type, according to their proximity to the Green Line and their accessibility. Places such as Modi’in Ilit, Beitar Ilit, Ariel and Ma’ale Adumim become part of the Green Line. Places such as Shiloh, Eli, Kiryat-Arba will become enclaves even if they are not defined as such, since they are at the end of the corridor of sovereignty, surrounded by a sovereign Arab area. There is no more access between Gush Etzion and Kiryat Arba, except via a narrow  corridor  that goes around Be’er Sheva. Har Hevron Council is erased because Telem and Adorah, which are west of Har Hevron, will have access only through Kiryat Gat, since they will be enclaves. They will not have access to Jerusalem and Kiryat Arba. The same thing goes for Negohot, Beit Hagai and Otniel.  It is the same idea for Samaria, Emek Dotan, Mevo Dotan and Hermesh, which will be isolated enclaves; Alon Moreh, Itamar, Yitzhar and Bracha are enclaves with one way out and not in the direction of Jerusalem. In general, there will not be access to Jerusalem from these enclaves except for one. There is no access between Jerusalem and Ariel. It is impossible to travel, even between Shiloh and Kida without having to travel around for an hour, since priority is given to the Arabs”.

Haetzni also noted that granting sovereignty is not absolute because a future government can arise and cancel that sovereignty just as it was with the Golan Heights, the political conversation continued even after Israeli sovereignty was applied there, and this plan itself, also removes Arab neighborhoods from Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem and areas of the Negev. He also noted, as one of the most irresponsible parts of the plan, the transfer of cities in the Triangle to the Palestinian state, a step that would mean leaving Route 6 in the middle of the Palestinian state,  leading to Arabs of the Triangle quickly buying apartments in the Gush Dan area.

Regarding the chance of encountering Arab rejectionism, to prevent the plan from being executed, Haetzni reminds us that there were two times when the Arabs did miss the opportunity to miss the opportunity and got everything.  It was when Saadat said yes to Begin and when Arafat said yes to Rabin.

Also, he said, “this plan does not take chances. It creates a separate agreement between the U.S. and Israel and Arab rejectionism will not ruin it. It is a plan within a plan. Israel surrenders a huge amount of territory and freezes the 15 communities so that they will suffocate, because who would go to live there, who would take a mortgage there and who would give mortgages there. Friedman himself says that we must overcome the subject of Jewish growth, which blocks option for a Palestinian state. After things are frozen for four years, it will be possible to breathe freely and discuss things in a more balanced way and establish the Palestinian state. In exchange for this, 30 percent of sovereignty is a reasonable price. This is what our so-called friend Friedman says”.

Haetzni expects the right-wing leadership to recognize the facts and say things openly, “first of all, we should understand that this is bad and not good. We should tell ourselves this, we should read the things and know that this is a bad and dangerous plan that must be fought and blocked. The price for the bone is insufferable. If I must pay a price for American recognition then I don’t want it. What do I care for their recognition? They did not recognize the Golan and western Jerusalem until Trump. If I build and determine facts on the ground, I don’t care about their recognition. To control the area, I don’t need  sovereignty and if I do apply sovereignty it will be in accordance with my own decision and not dependent on their approval, for which I must pay an insane price”.
