On the thirtieth anniversary of the signing of the disastrous Oslo Accords, the Sovereignty Movement has produced an online conference, in collaboration with Arutz 7 Israel National News.
Much has been written and said about the Oslo Accords. The Sovereignty Movement is focused on clarifying conclusions for the future.
Based on the belief that the Land of Israel in its entirety belongs to the Jewish people and based on the understanding that in order to preserve the Land of Israel, we must act not only in the settlement arena but also in the political arena in order to determine once and for all that this land is ours and that no other entity has national rights between the sea and the Jordan River - the Sovereignty Movement promotes the constructive solution of applying sovereignty, starting with the Jordan Valley, an idea that enjoys a broad consensus in Israeli society and even has the support of the Zionist Left.
Applying sovereignty over the Jordan Valley first, and its implementation will signify that the Israeli government acts in the interest of the State of Israel, not based on foreign dictates, will finally determine the eastern border of the State of Israel, which will put an end to the weapons smuggling and infiltrations from the neighboring kingdom of Jordan, will enable the dispersion of the population eastward, and will prevent the establishment of a Palestinian state.
The governments of Israel have, to date, never dared to take this necessary step in fear of international reaction. However, we have learned from the application of sovereignty in Jerusalem and the Golan Heights that the sun continued shining despite all the threats.
In the online conference, you will meet Emily Amrousi, Yoni Kempinski, and Uzi Baruch, who will interview Members of Knesset Amit Halevi, Dan Iluz, and Danny Danon, Dr. Motti Kedar, Yoram Ettinger, Shlomo Ne'eman, Morris Hirsch, esq., Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, as well as Hod Fisherman and Roi Feil leaders of the Sovereignty Youth.
