We are happy to present you with our Sovereignty bulletin # 43, sent to members and supporters of our Sovereignty Movement. You are invited to read, get updated, send us your comments and join:
Dear friends,
Peace and greetings.
Now, after the parties have all submitted their lists of candidates for the next Knesset, it is up to each and every one of us to bring about a strong, stable, right-wing government that will express the spirit and positions of the majority in Israel. We will remove invective and mutual accusations from the lexicon and internal discourse.
For the sake of love for the Land of Israel and for the sake of concern for the future of the State of Israel, we will act to form an ideological coalition and government, imbued with the goal of always placing foremost, the values that have led Zionism from its inception: aliyah, settlement, sovereignty, Jewish identity and an appropriate system of justice.
The next government is not expected to have an encouraging tailwind from the White House – on the contrary. American pressures on Israel will be backed by Europe’s support and encouragement as well as protests by the Israeli Left at home. In light of all this, we must have values-based leadership with vision and a backbone and this is what we must bring to the People of Israel next election day.
Encouraging Democracy
There have been a significant number of public opinion polls dealing with the question of the settlement blocs, Right and Left, with or without Bibi and so on, but these poll results are misleading and mislead all of us. The most important data point from all the election polls is the dramatic advantage held by the Right camp in Israel.
The number of mandates for the Right stands at more than eighty. Parties that define themselves as center parties win about twenty mandates. Arab parties win about ten mandates and there would be only about ten mandates for parties defined as distinctly leftist.
These data prove the healthy ideological and spiritual state of the People of Israel again and again. The only thing left for right-wing leaders to do is to fulfill the wishes and will of the People in Israel, to do away with invective and ostracism and internalize what the public mission is in a democratic state: to express the will of the people - and the people wants the Right.
Haven’t you seen it yet?
If you have not yet seen the Zoom meeting that we held with the four representatives of the right-wing parties, you are invited to do so here.
With this meeting, as well as in various other venues, both on-line and in-person, we intend to continue in the coming weeks to restore to a central position, the political and public discourse on Land of Israel values and its inherent duties, the vision of sovereignty and strengthening the settlement enterprise. Watch the meeting, which was held in the spirit of mutual respect and friendship, despite differences of opinion among the participants. We wish and hope that the entire election season will be conducted with such an atmosphere and will deal with these essential issues.
Our history is being looted
The damage and trampling of the Jewish heritage throughout Judea and Samaria continues. It happens every day and everywhere and without an answer or reaction by the authorities in the State of Israel, a result of the lack of sovereignty over the region.
Another sharp and painful example of the PA's organized activity to erase Jewish history can be found in what is happening at Tel Aroma near Itamar in Samaria. Here, in the tell, which was a Hasmonean fortress also mentioned in the Bible, the governor of the Nablus area of the PA decided to build a mosque in memory of "martyrs" , in other words, in praise of of terrorists who murdered Jews, no less! The Israeli outrageous response to this is that this is Area B, which is not under our control ...

Sovereignty Youth remembers Gush Katif
This week, the education system marked Gush Katif Day, the day that is supposed to shake the soul of the Jewish people every year, but it seems that in the shadow of the political preoccupation and the lack of regulated studies in schools, its important place is somewhat pushed aside and forgotten.
Despite this, the sovereignty youth is well aware of the significance of the tragic event of the partition of part of the Land of Israel, an event that in order to prevent similar ones in the future, Israeli sovereignty must be applied to the entire Land of Israel.
Here is what Maayan Cohen, member of the Sovereignty Youth wrote on the youth’s FB page:
Gush Katif. Displacement from the root.
The disengagement from our land, from ourselves and our spirit.
Because what is in it in this Land?
Our Land has a right. And pain. And wars. And dreams and longings and spirit.
This spirit that so influenced the deeds, the crops, the children, the faith, the way.
And we have the duty and obligation.
At this time to return to this spirit.
Because what's there in this youth?
It has powers and it has a Land with a lot to change.
And this youth has a vision.
To be a free people in our Land. In our entire Land.
A nation that knows its right is willing to fight for it.
Commemorating with photographs
We have recently completed thirty days since the untimely passing of our friend, a Land of Israel woman in heart and spirit, photographer Miri Tsahi, obm. We invite you again to join the initiative of commemoration that we set up at the Ribonut site. Look through your photographs and find pictures of the settlement and historic moments, go out and take photographs and send us photos that will appear in the special page on the site.

Thanks to the women
This coming Wednesday the Sovereignty Movement is organizing a special panel that will be held at the “Israel 2030” conference of the Besheva newspaper. The panel is entitled Peace with Sovereignty from the Women’s Perspective, in which we will give the opening speech.
The session will be held with the participation of women who are leaders in the fields of Law, Politics and Policy: Prof. Talia Einhorn, expert in international law, Dr Anat Roth from the Shilo Forum, former members of Knesset Orit Struck, Michal Shir, Idit Silman. In this session we will talk about the future, and indeed, the role of women is to lead a long-range, ideological vision that is not subject to the changing spirit of the time.
Shabbat shalom,
Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar
