Dear friends,
Peace and greetings.
Happy Purim!
Masks, the most obvious symbols of the holiday of Purim and the most obvious symbols of the present period, are starting to come off, including in the political sphere.
The new American administration, which has carefully maintained its ambiguity regarding its political stance regarding Judea and Samaria, is beginning to reveal its positions. It seems that they are still trying not to say anything decisive or exert political pressure on Israel’s government, perhaps in an effort to prevent the citizens of Israel from coming to the obvious conclusion: A broad right-wing government must be formed in Israel with a clear political world-view, that will be able to stand up to future pressures.
In any case, the trend is starting to become clear both regarding Iran, where the Biden administration is trying to find ways to return to some kind of agreed-upon nuclear program as well as matters concerning the Land of Israel.
This week there were reports on the discussion of the American Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken, with his Israeli counterpart, Gabi Ashkenazi, a discussion in which it became clear that the Biden administration’s position is to divide the Land and establish a Palestinian state in the heart of our Land. According to the report in Ha’aretz, Blinken emphasized that “The Biden administration believes that the two-state solution is the best way to assure the future of Israel as a Jewish, democratic state, alongside a viable and democratic Palestinian state”.
As mentioned, it could be that the American administration does not want to highlight the issue in order not to cause the Israeli Right to gather strength before the approaching elections, but this is exactly what we must do - to call on the leaders of the right-wing parties in every way we can, to coalesce into one coalition, without boycotts or personal blacklisting. Concern for the future of the Land of Israel demands it.
A government that includes any sort of partnership with left-wing parties will not be able to stand up to the pressure that Biden will put on Israel, the moment he feels that the time has come to demand for the government of Israel to withdraw, freeze building or enter into political negotiations to divide the Land. The great majority of the people in Israel (approximately 80 mandates) vote for the Right, want the Right and their political leaders must implement this.
In the coming days and weeks, we will continue to act publicly and directly vis-à-vis the right-wing parties and present them with this demand. It is within the power of all of us to act. Contact the various candidates directly and demand that they always keep the Land of Israel and the Jewish identity of the State of Israel in their thoughts. Demand that they unify for the future of us all.
A visitor at the preserve: The Minister of Heritage
On Tuesday we hosted the Minister of Heritage, Rav Rafi Peretz, at the Oz veGaon preserve, and we told him about several of our plans to increase activities at the preserve for the Land of Israel and clinging to the Land. Among other things, we presented him with a plan to establish an institute to document and tell the story of the settlement enterprise in Judea and Samaria. The minister expressed his support for the idea and we intend to act vigorously to promote the initiative with the relevant parties after the elections and the formation of the next government.

Sovereignty is not just about Land
People think sovereignty is about ownership, but it's more about existing in a legal limbo: https://elderofziyon.blogspot.com/2021/02/sovereignty-its-not-just-question-of.html

Rehabilitating and growing stronger, together with you
We are now in the midst of restoring the Oz veGaon preserve, after the severe damage that occurred to the preserve as a result of the recent snowstorm.
Some scenes of the damage from the storm:
During the storm, some ancient trees fell and were uprooted, electricity poles fell and equipment was badly damaged, but with the help of volunteers,
we are clearing away the damage and we are working to rebuild the equipment and upgrade the entire preserve.
Happy Purim
Shabbat shalom
