The Sovereignty Movement praises Member of Knesset Bezalel Smotrich for his intention to bring the proposed law for sovereignty over Judea and Samaria to the Ministerial Committee on Sunday.
The movement views the application of sovereignty as the essential and true answer to the question of the status of Judea and Samaria.
“The application of Israeli law over Judea and Samaria should have been done decades ago and then, the State of Israel would not have needed emergency regulation that perpetuate the historic stain that Israel experiences as long as it does not apply its sovereignty over the cradle of its homeland and the source of its life as the Jewish People”.
The co-chairwomen of the movement, Yehudit Katsover and Nadia Matar, express their hope that right-wing members of the coalition will come to their senses, put aside personal and political considerations and understand the historic necessity for the application of Israeli sovereignty over Judea and Samaria.
“There is a huge majority in the Knesset who support sovereignty. In this matter, the majority in the Knesset expresses very well the position of the majority of the People for sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel, elects the Right and demands that its representatives also promote the Right’s vision. It is within the power of the Prime Minister,
Ministers Sa’ar and Lieberman together with members of their factions, to enter the Jewish People’s annals of history as those who brought about a tremendous revolution, in consciousness and in practice, connecting the People of Israel to its Land. Unite under the Zionist vision and vote for sovereignty”.
