The Coalition Head in Beit El: This Land is ours by right and not as a favor. They will not move us from here. We must do what is necessary – apply sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel.
Head of the Coalition, Member of Knesset Miki Zohar continues to present a clear and unambiguous position on the matter of sovereignty. During a visit to Beit El Local Council, he repeated his position that sovereignty must be applied immediately over all parts of the Land of Israel, which belongs exclusively to the Jewish People.
ML Zohar met with Head of Council Shai Alon, the two toured construction sites in the town, where hundreds of housing units are being built. MK Zohar also visited archaeological sites in the town, sites where the findings connect with the ancient Jewish community of two thousand years ago.
During his visit, Zohar said: “During the tour of the town, we saw historical sites that prove that this Land is ours and was given to us by right and not as a favor. One can say with great emotion that the Land of Israel is ours forever and no one will move us away from here. We have planted powerful roots and we must continue to cling to this Land and do what is required – to apply sovereignty over the entire Land of Israel because it is ours and no one else’s”.
Head of Council Shai Alon: “MK Miki Zohar connects the settlement to the public discourse. You don’t need to try to convince him how important it is to us to be in this place. We asked him to act to obtain approval for 300 housing units and now we are asking for his help in evacuating the IDF regional unit so that we can have another 350 housing units here and more young families living in Beit El”.
